Three magnesium forms sounds smart until you realize one of them is oxide (absorbs at 4%). Citrate and aspartate are okay. 400mg full RDA at a budget price, but your toilet may have opinions about the oxide component.
400mg total magnesium from oxide, citrate, and aspartate blend. The oxide component absorbs at ~4%, citrate at ~30%, and aspartate at moderate rates. Assuming roughly equal proportions, effective absorption is much lower than the 400mg label suggests. Better than pure oxide but worse than pure glycinate or citrate. The blend approach waters down the better forms with the cheapest one. Real absorbed magnesium is probably around 60-80mg.
