Every supplement store has the same six problems.
Hesitation at the buy box, AI answers that skip the page, thin repeat orders, small baskets, price pressure, a full support inbox. None of them is your problem alone. Each has a piece of the evidence that answers it, and this map shows which piece.
Better conversion
At the buy box a shopper wants one thing they can check before they commit. The trust badge gives it to them without a click, and the proof card opens the rest on a tap. In a randomized field test of 9,098 shopping sessions, an independent third-party seal raised the chance of purchase.
Özpolat, Gao, Jank and Viswanathan, Information Systems Research 2013, DOI 10.1287/isre.2013.0489
A shopper weighing your label against a similar one is asking what the difference is. Why this form and where it is made answer that on the page, at the dose you print. Among 1,717 supplement shoppers surveyed, the ones who trusted more were willing to pay more.
Saygılı, Barutçu, Yalçıntekin and Sütütemiz, Journal of Sensory Studies 2025, DOI 10.1111/joss.70088

Reduce price sensitivity

Get found by Google and AI
More shoppers ask an AI assistant before they reach a store. The verification page is public, cited and easy for software to read, so an answer can quote it. In controlled tests, adding citations, quotations and statistics made pages appear 30 to 40 percent more often in AI answers.
Aggarwal et al., KDD 2024, DOI 10.1145/3637528.3671900
Grow subscriptions and repeat orders
A repeat order comes from someone who knows when to look for a change. The time course shows how long the trials ran, on the card, before the first order. Of supplement subscribers, 86.6 percent stay to the first reorder and 1.4 percent to the twelfth, and most who leave go early.
Recharge, supplement subscription retention, July 2026 (company data, about 1,800 brands)
Reduce early cancellations
An early cancel is often a timing mismatch: the change was due in week eight and the shopper stopped in week three. The time course, the limits check and the answers set that expectation up front. People starting new medicines who were told what to expect were about half as likely to stop early, an analogy from medicine.
Blackburn et al., Patient Preference and Adherence 2024, PMID 38774475
Increase average order value
A second product sells when the shopper sees why the two belong together. Studied together shows the pairings that were tested together, and the time course shows why one bottle is a short run. When shoppers choose items that belong together, they buy more in total.
Kobuszewski Volles, Ribbers, Van Kerckhove and Geuens, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services 2024, DOI 10.1016/j.jretconser.2024.104035
Reduce refunds and bad reviews
A refund at day ten is usually a shopper who expected something else. The time course, the limits and the answers say what the trials found and when it showed. Half the shoppers in one survey had sent something back because it did not match its description.
PowerReviews consumer survey, June 2021 (industry survey)
Reduce support questions about quality
Most quality questions are the same three: does it work, how much, and when. The answers on the card reply on the page, before anyone writes in. Over two years of one retailer's data, more helpful information before purchase was followed by fewer returns.
Sahoo, Dellarocas and Srinivasan, Information Systems Research 2018, DOI 10.1287/isre.2017.0736
Gain trust, win over skeptics
The skeptic checks, and the check should end on your side. The verification page is signed by us, public, and every statement on it links to its paper. Across product types, 85 percent of Americans trust a claim an independent body tested, against 70 percent for a claim the brand makes alone.
NSF International and Ipsos, Consumer Concerns Survey 2019, n=1,000
Build a brand shoppers remember
A brand people remember is one they can describe to a friend. The verification page, why this form and where it is made give them the words. Trust built on scientific information held up better when a contradicting headline appeared.
Aschemann-Witzel and Grunert, Food Quality and Preference 2015, DOI 10.1016/j.foodqual.2015.01.008
Stand out from the cheaper label
The label next to yours may list the same ingredient. Why this form and where it is made show the difference in the form and the dose. Outside information moves sales most for products people take privately and cannot try first, which is most supplements.
You, Vadakkepatt and Joshi, Journal of Marketing 2015, DOI 10.1509/jm.14.0169
Win retail and marketplace buyers
Retail and marketplace buyers now ask for independent proof before they stock a product. The verification page and the certificate, audited against the label, are ready to hand over. Since April 2024, Amazon accepts supplement test results only from approved third-party labs.

Why this works.
What the literature found, one row per problem, with its source beside it. No testimonials: we have none and invent nothing.

Where this is going.
- More of the buying decision will happen inside AI answers, before a shopper reaches the store.Adobe, March 2025: 39 percent of US shoppers surveyed had used generative AI for shopping. Pew Research Center, July 2025: with an AI summary on the page, 8 percent of visits clicked a result, against 15 percent without one.
- Proof from someone other than the brand will be the price of being believed.NSF International and Ipsos, 2019: 85 percent trust a claim tested by an independent organization, against 70 percent for the brand's own. NSF, 2021: 62 percent say independent certification would raise their trust in a supplement.
- Verification will become a condition of being stocked.NutraIngredients, April 2024, and Epstein Becker Green, January 2026: Amazon requires third-party lab verification for supplements, now extended to label and cGMP compliance. Nutritional Outlook, 2021: CVS has required independent label-accuracy testing since 2019.
- Each claim will be judged against the evidence behind it.FTC Health Products Compliance Guidance, December 2022: health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence. In April 2023 the FTC sent notices on substantiation to about 670 marketers, supplement companies among them.
