How we verify

The brand submits the formula. We read the supplement facts panel and weigh dose, form and synergy against the clinical evidence. Labs test. IngredientMD verifies. The fee pays for review time, never for the outcome.

How we read this product

Source: Supplement facts
Supplement Facts panel for Optimized Resveratrol
  1. 01
    We read the label.

The panel on the left is the one we evaluated, line by line.

  2. 02
    Every active, separately.

All 8 actives checked against the clinical evidence: dose, form, and what the research actually shows.

  3. 03
Then the formula as a whole.

Doses, ratios, and how the ingredients work together. That assessment is the verdict above: "Stronger in a pair".

  4. 04
    Earned, not bought.

The verdict is public and identical whether or not a brand pays. A formula that does not clear the bar gets nothing.

What this formula earned

Every one of these is a fact the engine could ground.

Each line below was derived from this formula's own record at the time of verification. Nothing here was written by the brand, and nothing can be added that the evidence does not carry.

  • Studied in people16 human studies on quercetin back this formula, each one cited.
  • A mechanism that is settledHow trans-resveratrol and Japanese knotweed (root) work is settled pharmacology.
  • Studied together, not just separatelytrans-resveratrol and quercetin have been studied together, not only separately.
  • Recent work on the recordThe most recent study on this record was published in 2019.
  • Why this formatIt is a capsule, so the amount per serving is fixed and travels without measuring.
  • The exact form, describedThe label names its forms exactly: Polygonum cuspidatum root extract, standardised, Hu zhang root powder, Guar gum (whole, high-viscosity). The record says what each one is and what it suits.

  • Where it comes from and how it is madetrans-resveratrol is made by more than one route.
  • Positions this formula already qualifies forThis formula already qualifies for positions beyond the one it is sold into, on the evidence it carries.
  • A position nobody is holding yetSome of those positions are ones almost nobody is selling to yet.
Studied together

The combinations the trials actually measured.

One pairing in this formula has been studied as a combination in human trials. Each finding below is what a named study measured, cited and dated, never written by the brand.

  • Resveratrol Elite™ Proprietary Blend + quercetinRecovery

In a double-blind crossover trial, 14 athletes took resveratrol with quercetin for a week before exhaustive exercise. The post-exercise rise in F2-isoprostanes, a lipid peroxidation marker, was 68% with the combination versus 137% with placebo, while inflammation markers and antioxidant capacity were unchanged.

Research strength. Research strength says how much work stands behind the combination. It is never a product score.

Fail closed. Where actives were studied on their own rather than together, each shows on its own evidence, never a combined effect no trial measured.

General timing

How each ingredient usually behaves over time.

7 ingredients, from each one's own page.

  • Resveratrol Elite™ Proprietary BlendWeeks, not days

Weeks to months, and it reads on measures like flow-mediated dilation or a lipid panel rather than as a sensation.

Its own page, the plain answer on timing

  • trans-resveratrolAbout eight to twelve weeks

Give it eight to twelve weeks. What changes shows up in blood markers such as lipids and glucose handling rather than in how an afternoon feels.

Its own page, the plain answer on timing

  • Japanese knotweed (root)Weeks, not days

The change shows up on markers like blood lipids and inflammatory readings rather than as a sensation, so a six to eight week read is the sensible one.

Its own page, the plain answer on timing

  • galactomannans

The gel forms within an hour, so feeling fuller after a meal shows up the same day. Steadier glucose after meals and easier regularity take about two to three weeks.

Its own page, the plain answer on timing

  • Fenugreek (seed)

The fibre acts on the meal it's taken with, same day, and that reads on a glucose meter. Marker changes on a panel are read across two to four weeks.

Its own page, the plain answer on timing

  • Bio-Quercetin® Proprietary BlendAbout four to eight weeks

Plan on four to eight weeks of daily use. Changes show up first in blood pressure readings and inflammatory markers rather than in how a day feels.

Chemical form

The same ingredient, carried differently.

What each form is, and where it fits in a formula. Measured findings carry the study that reported them.

  • Trans-resveratrol

The free stilbene aglycone in its trans geometric configuration, a single molecule of formula C14H12O3 (three hydroxyls on a two-ring stilbene skeleton), sold either purified from plant material or made synthetically.

    Fits
It is the geometric isomer characterised across the resveratrol literature and the one most panels standardise to, and it holds its structure in dry capsules and tablets when kept from light and heat.
    Trade-off
The trans double bond isomerises toward the cis form under ultraviolet light, and the free aglycone has low water solubility, so it depends on light-protected packaging to keep its declared isomer.
  • Quercetin dihydrate

Quercetin aglycone, the free flavonol with no sugar attached, crystallised with two molecules of water held in the lattice. The raw material is usually extracted from Sophora japonica flower buds or Dimorphandra mollis (fava d'anta) pods.

    Fits
The workhorse raw material behind most quercetin labels: a stable crystalline yellow powder that standardises cleanly to a stated flavonol weight and blends readily into capsules, tablets and powder blends.
    Trade-off
The plain aglycone is poorly water-soluble and dissolves slowly in gastrointestinal fluid, so an unformulated dihydrate powder sits at the low end of the solubility range for this molecule.

Descriptions of the form itself, read from the cited studies. Not a comparison between products and not a statement about any individual.

Format

Capsule

It is a capsule, so the amount per serving is fixed and travels without measuring.

Best forMost standard doses, and anywhere a short, clean label is the point.
