Fuchsia berries and calyces carry anthocyanin pigments, and ascorbate is routinely present alongside them in fruit preparations. The relationship is not simply protective: ascorbate can stabilise anthocyanins at low pH but can also accelerate their degradation in aqueous solution over time, depending on metal ions and oxygen. So the pairing is a formulation variable rather than a benefit to claim. There is no human work on the pair for this species.
Dried berry powders oxidise, losing colour and developing off-flavours. Tocopherols are added to slow that in the lipid fraction. The benefit is to shelf stability of the material, not to the person taking it. This applies to fuchsia berry powder as it does to any anthocyanin-rich fruit preparation.
Anthocyanins and other polyphenols bind non-heme iron in the gut lumen and lower its absorption, an effect measured repeatedly across polyphenol-rich foods and beverages.
