Psyllium is mostly a viscous, poorly fermented gel former while the Rosa laevigata fraction is fermentable. Stacking them gives both bulk and substrate, which are different jobs. Fluid intake needs to keep pace or the combination becomes uncomfortable. This is fibre formulation, not a pharmacological interaction.
