Saccharomyces boulardii is a live yeast that transits the gut. Pairing them puts a non-viable yeast fraction and a viable yeast in the same product, which is a formulation rationale rather than a measured combined effect.
Inulin is a fermentable fructan that colonic bacteria use to make short-chain fatty acids. Yeast fermentate contributes mannan and glucan-containing cell-wall material plus organic acids, a different substrate class. The two feed different parts of the microbial community, which is why they are combined; no trial of the combination is cited here.
Galactooligosaccharides are selectively fermented by bifidobacteria, while yeast cell-wall polysaccharides are handled by a different set of gut organisms. Combining substrate classes broadens which bacteria are supported rather than pushing harder on one. This is substrate biochemistry, not a measured outcome.
A non-viable fermentate is frequently paired with live bacterial strains so a single product carries both a substrate and an organism. The pairing is standard in commercial synbiotic formulas. Whether the fermentate measurably changes strain survival or activity has not been shown in the cited literature.

Oat beta-glucan is a linear beta-1,3/1,4 polymer that acts largely through viscosity in the gut lumen. Yeast-derived glucan is a branched beta-1,3/1,6 structure recognised by dectin-1 on immune cells. Both are called beta-glucan and they behave differently, so combining them is not doubling one thing.
Lactoferrin binds iron and interacts with mucosal surfaces, while yeast fermentate contributes cell-wall polysaccharides that engage pattern-recognition receptors in gut-associated lymphoid tissue. The two are combined in mucosal-support formulas on complementary-mechanism grounds. No cited study measured them together.
Bovine colostrum supplies immunoglobulins and growth factors that act in the gut lumen, a different input from the polysaccharide and metabolite fraction of a yeast fermentate. They appear together in gut-and-immune blends. The rationale is complementary composition rather than a demonstrated interaction.
Retinoic acid signalling is required for normal mucosal immunoglobulin A responses and for gut-homing of lymphocytes. Any ingredient intended to act on gut-associated immune tissue depends on adequate vitamin A status for that tissue to respond. This is a nutrient-dependency relationship, not a combination effect.
Selenoproteins including glutathione peroxidases and thioredoxin reductases are needed for normal lymphocyte function and redox control during an immune response.
