Cordyceps and Butea superba appear together in energy and stamina blends across the market. The grounding is commercial and traditional practice. No trial has assessed the combination and the confidence stays at the bottom band for that reason.

Butea superba tuber contains flavonoids, flavonoid glycosides and plant sterols, and the glycosides are hydrolysed to their aglycones by gut bacterial glycosidases before absorption.
Flavonoid aglycones absorbed from the gut are extensively glucuronidated and sulfated in the intestinal wall and liver, so circulating concentrations of the parent compounds are typically low and short-lived.
The lipophilic sterol fraction of the tuber depends on bile salts and dietary fat for micellar uptake, which is why extraction solvent and dosing with food both change what is delivered.
Constituent content in a root or tuber botanical varies with growing region, plant age, harvest season and extraction solvent, so two products carrying the same botanical name can differ substantially in composition.
Where Butea Superba comes from.
This comes from the underground root of a Thai climbing vine. The roots are cleaned, sliced, dried and soaked in an alcohol and water mix to pull out the plant compounds, then the liquid is concentrated and dried into a powder. Because several similar-looking plants share the same local names, checking the plant is what it says it is matters more here than usual.
Made from a plant. What ends up in the capsule tracks the harvest, so batch testing and a stated marker matter more here than with a made molecule.
The plant is a climbing vine native to Thailand and neighbouring parts of mainland Southeast Asia; the underground tuber is the part collected, from cultivated or wild-harvested stands.
Tubers are washed, sliced to expose the interior and dried to a low moisture level, which halts enzymatic degradation and allows storage before extraction.
Milled material is extracted with an ethanol and water mixture chosen to bring across both the glycosides and the more lipophilic aglycones and sterols.
The extract is filtered clear of plant solids and the solvent is stripped under reduced pressure, leaving a concentrated soft extract.
The concentrate is assayed for its flavonoid marker content and diluted onto a carrier to reach the declared specification, with botanical identity confirmed against a reference.
