Capsaicinoids and 6-paradol both act as TRPV1 agonists, so they overlap rather than covering separate ground. Gastric warmth and irritation from the two is additive, which is the practical limit on stacking them.
Catechins slow catechol-O-methyltransferase, the enzyme that clears noradrenaline. Grains of paradise raises the release of that same transmitter, so the two act on supply and clearance of one signal.

Ginger is a Zingiberaceae relative and its gingerols and shogaols are structural cousins of 6-paradol acting on the same TRPV1 receptor. The pairing is additive on that one receptor rather than complementary.
Grains of paradise is almost always formulated next to caffeine, and theanine is the standard counterweight to the jittery edge of a caffeine dose. Theanine does not interact with the vanilloid chemistry of 6-paradol at all. Its role is to smooth the stimulant component of the same product.
Taurine appears in stimulant and pre-workout products for its role in osmoregulation and calcium handling in muscle. It has no established interaction with 6-paradol. The pairing is formulation convention rather than a measured combination.
Chromium participates in insulin signalling as part of chromodulin, and it is routinely formulated alongside thermogenic ingredients aimed at body composition. Cinnamon polyphenols are studied for their effect on post-meal glucose handling, a marker rather than an outcome. Grains of paradise works on energy expenditure through vanilloid receptor activation. They are combined for coverage of two different levers, without joint data.
The pungent constituents of Aframomum melegueta seed are oil-soluble phenolic ketones that dissolve poorly in water. A medium-chain triglyceride carrier keeps them dispersed in a softgel or a liquid format. This is a delivery role, not a second active.
Lecithin emulsifies the oleoresin fraction so it stays dispersed rather than separating in a beverage or a softgel. It also softens the mouthfeel of a strongly pungent extract. Formulation aid, nothing more.
Curcuminoids and the paradols are both cleared largely by glucuronidation on first pass, and both are frequently paired with piperine for that reason. Grains of paradise is the seed of Aframomum melegueta, a ginger relative. The heat you taste comes from a small family of pungent compounds: 6-paradol, 6-gingerol and 6-shogaol.
6-paradol carries the same vanillyl chemical group that defines the chilli compound family, and it switches on TRPV1, the heat-sensing channel sitting on sensory nerves.
Brown fat makes heat using a protein called uncoupling protein 1, which lets mitochondria burn fuel for warmth instead of packaging it as ATP. That is the tissue this kind of heat response is thought to act on.
