Probably slightly. The bioavailability studies show a modest advantage for acerola-derived C, likely because the bioflavonoids improve absorption. But the difference isn't night and day.
How much actual vitamin C am I getting?
Check the standardization. At 17-25% vitamin C, a 1000mg dose of extract gives you 170-250mg of actual vitamin C. The rest is bioflavonoids and other cherry compounds.
